The excavators roll: Construction work begins in Heidestraße district
– Start of construction for THE CORE, the heart of the quarter
– Local supply centre, residential and office location in modern urban architecture
– Completion is scheduled for 2019.
Berlin, 06 December 2017 – The starting signal for the realisation of the Heidestraße quarter in Europacity: construction work has begun on the THE CORE building in the centre of the quarter. The building with six and nine storeys respectively and a striking red brick façade will be the first building in the Heidestraße district. As a local supply centre with shops on the ground floor, offices, practices and apartments, it will be the heart of the quarter in the future.
